About Lindsey

I love working with children, especially in helping them overcome challenges to meet their full potential. As an elementary school teacher, I have nine years of experience in Texas, Florida, and Wisconsin. During my time as an educator I have worked extensively with general education, special education, gifted, and English language learning students. My teaching style adapts to effectively reach each child's needs, interests, and learning styles. Through small group and one-on-one instruction, I strive to incorporate learning games, movement, real world examples, and humor whenever possible. As an educator, I hold a bachelor's degree in early childhood and elementary education, as well as a master's degree in education and literacy. I am also certified in English second language education. My instructional experience includes teaching kindergarten for four years, first grade for four years, second grade for one year, fifth grade while student teaching, and tutoring third grade.
