I am an Engineer at GE Transportation who is passionate about working with kids interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). I was a Mechanical Engineering Student at Northern Illinois University where I worked for the university's STEM Outreach office which hosted weekend camps and events for children elementary school up to high school ages. I also worked for a program called Enhancing Engineering Pathways that was a weekend engineering camp for Girl Scouts 6th to 8th grade. Now that I work full time at GE Transportation, I am involved in events such as Math Options and GE Girls Camp which are hosted at Penn State Behrend partnered with GE Transportation.
