After graduating from Boston University, I moved to California to attend graduate school where I earned my master's degree in Education. I am a California credentialed Education Specialist in Mild to Moderate Disabilities and I also hold a Multiple Subject California Teaching Credential. I have been teaching at the middle school level for 6 years as a Special Education Resource Teacher at a charter school in Los Angeles. I currently teach 6th grade but am well-equipped to teach students at a wide range of grade levels and abilities. In addition to teaching, I have been providing independent 1:1 educational therapy/tutoring services to families after school for the last 5 years. As an educator, I work hard to instill a love of learning in each of my students and provide them with the necessary tools, skills, and strategies needed to be successful both in and out of the classroom.
