About Lindsay

My name is Lindsay and I love working with little ones! I have always enjoyed caring for children and decided to make it my career:) I graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a Bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development (with a focus on early childhood). I have experience in both Montessori and play- based preschools, caring primarily for children aged 6 weeks-2 years. I believe that quality care and education starts with a nurturing environment in which the child feels free to explore, as they are so naturally curious! In addition to nurturing the overall development of the children, I plan and implement age appropriate activities. My favorite is sensory play! Infants and toddlers love to explore and learn best when they engage their senses. Ex: water play, sensory bins/bags/bottles with different objects or foods, play doh, etc. Reading, singing, art and outdoor play are also a must! I am Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certified as well.
