About Lindsay

At Seminole State College, I pursued a degree in Early Childhood Education. While obtaining my degree and nannying part-time, I also worked at a private preschool. I gained experience working with many age groups particularly with infants, toddlers, and 2-year-olds. Upon graduating from SSC, I began training for the VPK (Voluntary Pre-kindergarten) program and in the fall of 2009, I started my first year as a Lead VPK teacher. I loved the program and I continued teaching VPK until May 2013. Currently, I am looking for part-time work and flexible hours as a nanny or babysitter. I especially enjoy arts and crafts, music, and outdoor activities. I'm available everyday except Sundays. I charge $13-$15 an hour for a single child, depending on their age. For children under 12 months, I charge $15 an hour. For multiple children and varying ages, I charge between $13 and $15 an hour. I prefer to be compensated professionally according to IRS rules with a W2 issued at the end of the year.
