About Lindsay

Hello all- I am a loving, direct and funny person. I like caring for seniors because I love listening to their stories, it's a history lesson. They also have a unique outlook on life. They are so grateful for the help which makes me a little sad. Seniors should be revered. I am seeking a long term position so I can build a one on one relationship with the client. I started caring for seniors in 2008 when I cared for my terminally ill mom, after that people would ask me if I'd be interested in caring for their family members. It just grew from there and I bounced back and forth between seniors and cooking, managing families, estates. Recently I became certified as a CNA in NY State through Lehman College. Personally I like to travel, read, swim, watch old (1940's- 1970's) movies, play cards and board games, scrabble. Write short stories, people watch, attend art museums, concerts My skills include patience. Intuition. I can figure out things quickly and I'm great in a crisis.
