About Lindsay

Hello! I am currently getting my K-12 Special Education masters and certification and am working as a tutor while I am in grad school. Before tutoring, I taught at a special education school for five years, where I learned how to implement trauma informed care, working with students ranging from kindergarten to seniors in high school. I feel my education, knowledge and experience all enable me to make a difference. I enjoy building strong relationships with both students and parents, to help determine and reach shared goals. I believe every child learns differently and can benefit from individualized instruction and engaging enrichment work. As I am not in a classroom right now, I also love building meaningful relationships with children through babysitting. Looking forward to meeting you!
