Experience: 10 yrs
I'm friendly, compassionate, and engaging. It's rewarding to support children's development and interests. I embrace the challenges and aim for fun. I want to support a family who will use my vast knowledge and experience. I value good communication, boundary management, and clear expectations. I started babysitting when I was 12. I've worked in childcare centers, as a nanny, a doula, and as a Family Advocate. I love to walk my dog, dance, sing, camp, swim, bike, read. I love the outdoors and spending time with friends and family. I utilize developmentally appropriate practices, emergent curriculum, positive discipline, and community engagement. I can quickly connect with children and parents. I've robust knowledge and experience in child development, learning, and behavior. I have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Being a first time mother to a baby boy, finding a care provider is pretty scary. You don't know who to trust. My son fell in love with Lindsay after the 1st time she cared for him. They made a trusting and safe bond, and built on it. There's nothing more I could for. She plays games, and encourages him to complete tasks. She cooks him meals, and competently takes him out into the community. She promptly answers my calls and texts, and gives a full breakdown of the days events. She isn't afraid to ask questions, and administrator first aid. As a cherry on top- she's fun and goofy, her playfulness is contagious. However, her professionalism is paramount at all times. I'm so lucky to have found her, and hope to continue to be in partnership going forward as my son growths.
