I have experience working as a direct support professional for children and adults. I was expected to Assist clients with living a self-directed life, encourage clients with attitudes and behaviors that align with their individualized service plan and report daily to the guardians of the patient and supervisor with patients progress. I also am currently working in a fully inclusive preschool classroom where I have fell in love with the practices of my mentor teacher. I am passionate about working with children with special abilities because I love encouraging children to achieve their goals, be independent and confident in themselves.
