About Linda

As a retiring elementary school teacher with three successful adult children of my own, I'm ready to use my 30 years of K-5 teaching experience to support families by providing reliable childcare. My passion for fostering children's growth and development, coupled with my patience, creativity, and friendly nature, makes me an ideal caregiver. I believe in clear communication with parents and will provide regular updates on your child's day via your preferred method. While I don't believe in corporal punishment, I do think a mix of positive motivators and fair consequences agreed upon by the parents works best. From board games and puzzles to educational games and technology-based apps, I enjoy a variety of games that promote learning and fun. I'm also happy to help with light housekeeping. I hold a graduate degree and am a certified teacher. I am comfortable caring for several children at a time.
