I am a mother of 2 young men who once were babies that I cared for and loved dearly. Needless to say there is over 40 years of caring for my own children. Since retirement as a Social Worker I have been a Nanny through Care. com in Little River, SC. My past experience with The Boys & Girls Homes of NC included working as a Cottage Parent of 9 at risk youth, both boy and girl cottages. I am trained how to diffuse negative behavior by redirecting and how to show great care and affection by giving individual time that children need. I love people and I have a special place in my heart for children and the elderly. I believe that my calling is to help those who are at risk and cannot take care of themselves.
