Hello! Thank you for viewing my bio. I live in Lakewood and I have my own transportation. My schedule is flexible. I am interested in finding an ongoing senior care position for 16 hours a week. I am also open to pet care and housekeeping. I am retired from 10 years of service as a hospice chaplain. I thoroughly enjoyed this work in being present to patients, families and caregivers while working on an interdisciplinary team of nurses and social workers. My skills include compassion, patience, kindness, empathy, and companionship. I can provide light housekeeping, shopping, medication management, laundry and food preparation if desired. I cared for my mom with dementia for six years until her death at 92. I would welcome an opportunity to care for your loved one. I have had dogs, cats and birds for pets for most of my life. Presently, I have one miniature Golden Doodle, Kai, who will soon be tested for Pet Therapy Certification. I can provide dog care at your home.
