About Linda

It is the experience of mothering, as well as being a teacher, shelter mom, and foster mother to many children which informs my understanding of children and the absolute love children deserve. I once heard it said that having children is like having your heart outside your body. I can't think of a better explanation for the all-consuming love I have for my own child and for all the young friends I have had the privilege to have in my life. The joy and freedom children express, their laughter, their strong feelings, and their kindnesses teach me to be a better human. How I love sharing all of the hysterical comments, funny faces, and amazing learning moments I get to experience with their parents. Rest assured, I am an entertaining and warm nanny, but one grounded in experiential learning. I have taught all kinds of students in any number of situations-from kindergarteners on the Navajo reservation to rural students in one-room schoolrooms, gifted and talented students, and more!
