Over the last number of years I have become very aware of the emotional and physical stress that is placed on family acting as care givers. I saw how difficult it was for my mom to care for my dad with the beginnings of dementia. I have seen the struggle that (family) caregivers have when they are unable to be with their loved ones on a 24/7 basis. Many not knowing what to do, or how to find help while wanting to keep their loved ones home. Of course being concerned that they will be truly be cared for. Wanting them honored for who they are as a person is critical. I will treat your loved one with dignity, respect, kindness, and always a consideration. My intention is to grow a genuine and trusting relationship between myself and them. While caring for your loved one, my wish is that you find a moment to feel comfort and peace knowing they are cared for and respected as an individual.
