I retired seven months ago after a long nursing career. I have worked full-time since 18 years of age. I am a retired nurse practitioner. I started as a nurses aid at 16, and worked my way up from there. I've loved being a mother and a wife as much as being a nurse, but it is very difficult to manage everything. I feel I have an awful lot to offer a family in need of juggling a very busy home life with children, work and pets. I also am very energetic, love kids of all ages, yes even teenagers (if they aren't mine). I have found, I am at my best, being busy, surrounded by kids. I am very organized, love to cook, and play card games and board games. Have an extensive history working with kids with all abilities, or lack of abilities. Willing to travel with family or stay at their home with kids. I don't smoke, or do drugs. I drink very lightly.
