My family was blessed to have two special need members. They taught us to enjoy the little things in life and to love unconditionally. I treasure the memories that we created together. I am a natural born caretaker. My family and friends all say that my happiest moments are when I am making a difference in others lives. I was a teacher for many years and had many integrated special needs students in my program. School counselors and special education teachers placed many students in my program because they knew I loved working with this population and I empowered them to do their best. I am extremely patient, loving and empowering. I am responsible, respectful and reliable. I am friendly, have a good sense of humor and good communication skills. I have integrity and I am honest. I love completing arts and crafts, playing board games and jigsaw puzzles, gardening, cooking, housekeeping, laundry and ironing, walking, shopping, movies, eating out and going for drives.
