About Linda

I'd describe my personality as conscientious, light hearted. I cared for my parents for 6 yrs while I had small children. It was very difficult, but they had a few caregivers who made a big difference in their lives. Knowing I am making a difference for families is very fulfilling for me. I'm looking for a job that allows me to make a difference. I like to look around and see what I can do to improve a situation. Tripping hazards that need to be addressed? Tasks that client needs help completing? Planning healthy food? Hobbies that can be worked on together? Or even just companionship? Helping parents through Parkinson's, cancers, diabetes, broken bones, dementia, etc. After kids went to college I started thinking about caregiving. Took CNA course and got certificate in 2022. Started working 2023. In my spare time, I like to oil paint, play pickleball, walk my dogs. My skills include patience, empathy, safety awareness. I have a resume with more work experience.
