My Name is Lina and I am 38 years old. I moved from Colombia to the USA 11 years ago. I obtained my BA in Early Childhood Education specializing in Spanish. Upon completing my degree, I worked for 5 years in Colombia, in primary and secondary school, K-8. I have babysat for the past 7 years and love the one-on-one interaction. I have accumulated a great deal of experience with toddlers and elementary-aged children, which I've really enjoyed. I am very punctual, and respectful, and I have a lot of experience with different family situations. Spanish is my first language and I enjoy teaching it to the kids I take care of. I need to make a difference in their lives by helping them learn a second language. I have worked and lived with 2 American families, their kids were 2, 4, and 6 years old, one year in Washington DC and the other in NY during 2015 I cared for newborns until December. I wanted to highly recommend Lina as a babysitter. She is truly amazing and goes above and beyond. Not only is she great at caring for children, but she also exceeded my expectations in every way. In fact, she taught my daughter Sophia some Spanish words, which was such a wonderful bonus! I’m confident she would be an asset in any situation.
