About Lily

I'm really passionate about Waldorf education and have a certificate as a Waldorf Early Childhood teacher. I love spending time with children playing outside, doing crafts, cooking/baking, and telling stories. It's important for me to have good communication with parents and have parenting values in common when helping to take care of your children! I'd describe my personality as warm, calm, nurturing. I like working with kids because they are so wise and tuned into knowledge that adults sometimes forget about, like how to be playful, open-hearted, and adventurous! I also care a lot about mental health and well-being and believe that childhood is a very strong foundation for developing good strong health for the rest of a child's life and feel passionate about supporting children's life-long thriving. In my spare time, I like hiking, backpacking, biking, and swimming. I also love to garden, cook, practice herbalism, and most recently have been learning about clay and ceramics.
