About Lily

I'd describe my personality as kind, helpful, and curious. I like working with kids because their awe and wonder while learning about the world around them makes everything feel fresh again. A day with kids is never dull or monotonous. I started working with kids when I was 12 and took the Red Cross babysitter training at my middle school since then I've started my path to becoming an educator at UVM. I have acted as a counselor for a multitude of camps, and have filled roles as a nanny, a paraeducator, and as a local afterschool staffer In my spare time, I like to bake, go on hikes, read, watch movies, hang out with my friends and my cat Gizmo, garden, and craft. One thing you should know about me is I love coming up with crafts and activities! My skills include redirecting undesired behavior, engaging & developing relationships with your kiddos, and most importantly having good old-fashioned fun!
