Whether it's taking them on the mountain, exploring outside, or playing at home, I always want to make kids feel comfortable and seen. I love working with kids because the world is so new to them, there is always so much excitement and curiosity. I've spent more than 100 hours working in respite care for children diagnosed with ASD and it was the most rewarding experience of my life. I am looking to childcare employment because I love to play, and I can't imagine working somewhere where I didn't feel like I was making some kind of difference. I am First Aid/CPR and AED certified, I am also a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, and I love creating new games to engage kids in active play. When taking multiple kids on the mountain my partner is available as a helper in terms of corralling the kiddos or helping them feel confident and comfortable, we have more than 27 years of snowboarding experience between the two of us and love sharing the fun with kiddos.
