I have been active in this field for over 17 years supporting people with disabilities (2-60 yrs old). Currently I manage a program at a non profit in the San Fernando Valley supporting young adults with disabilities to secure employment. I have worked here for 10 years and love the people I support, but I am ready to make a change and work closer to home! Additional Work Exp: -1:1 behavior therapy in homes & at schools for agencies as well as privately for families in LA -Program staff at an sleep away YMCA summer camp -SFUSD paraprofessional -Respite care for kids involve CWS. I am passionate about disability rights and social justice, and I bring experience, authenticity and a sense of humor to my work! I have a BA in Community Studies and completed a Master's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling at Cal State LA in 2014. Currently I am looking at open positions (part and full time) in Los Angeles and if I find the right fit I am excited to start a new adventure!
