About Lilly

I was first recruited for home health care while working as a CNA in a nursing home and rehabilitation facility. I helped take care of this senior client in the facility and continued at the home. As one of the caregivers, we worked various hours around the clock with the family to ensure that there was coverage. I continued to make connections with the elderly when I worked in the hospital. You learn a lot about people when they are ill in the hospital. I use this as an opportunity to show the elderly that they are still important and capable. I see it as: Your body is changing and getting older. You can't do all the things you used to do, but we can still find ways to enjoy life differently.
