About Lillian

Hello :)! My name is Lily and I absolutely love working with kids. I have been everything from a nanny to baby sitter to teacher to counselor. I am currently a part time teacher at a Children's art studio called Created by Kids. I have been teaching art there for a year working both in the studio and teaching off site ceramics classes at various schools around Brooklyn. I have also been a lead elementary science teacher at a charter school. My background is in Graphic Design but even throughout my design path I taught at a pre-college program for incoming design students. I have worked with preschool age kids and elementary school students all the way up to high school students and feel very comfortable with a wide range of class ages and sizes. I am super passionate about teaching kids in a safe, curious, playful, and creative environment and am always trying to find better techniques to help them have the best experience and most learning possible
