I've been caring for children since my oldest nephew was born when I was nine. He lived in my house so I got to spend a lot of time with his parents, learning how to take care of him. When I was 10, I started working as a mother's assistant to a 2-year-old and new-born twins. Since then, I've babysat or nannied over two dozen kids. When I was 11, a family I had been babysitting for regularly had a new baby three months early. When he was released from the hospital, I was the only person that was allowed to watch him. I've watched up to six kids at a time before (and two of them were still in diapers). I've taken care of a 25-year-old man with Down Syndrome, who required little besides some company. I love kids, and I love to help out.
