About Lilianne

I worked with kids aged 5-13 as a camp counselor and it was so much fun! Learning how to make each day the best it could be for so many different kids with all different personalities and interests was a challenge but ultimately an incredibly rewarding one. I also used to babysit my cousins when I was in middle/high school and was told I had a knack for it. I love working with kids because something as simple as talking to them about their favorite video game or helping them tie their shoes can make their whole day. It is also important to me to make sure that the kids are comfortable coming to me for help/telling me if something is upsetting them. I always make it clear that I care a lot about how they are feeling and want to help in any way that I can. In terms of my skills/abilities, at the summer camp I worked at, I would swim with my group every single day. I got used to making sure the kids were both being safe and having fun in the pool.
