About Lila

I like tutoring because I find joy in helping others find how they want to achieve their dreams. Loving to learn is a great way to approach life and I want everyone to be able to find how they best learn and what interests them! I started tutoring in high school as my National Honor's Society President in math, english and science and fell in love with helping others figure out tough concepts and teaching them in the style (ie visual, auditory, reading/writing, social, etc.) that works best for them! In my spare time, I like to read, sing, draw and spend time with my family. I am very creative and love to be busy. One thing you should know about me is I understand learning can be a frustrating process and I will always be patient and understanding in order to help make the least stressful environment for everyone. My skills include figuring out learning styles, patience and willingness to do research outside of sessions to ensure the right information is being taught.
