About Lia

I'm a nurturing and responsible childcare provider with eight years of experience working with children and young adults on the autism spectrum, both inside and outside of a classroom setting. My passion lies in fostering children's growth and development, and I strive to make a positive impact on their lives. I believe in patience, creativity, and a friendly approach when caring for children. I foster open communication with parents, providing regular updates and following their preferred method of communication. When it comes to enforcing household rules, I follow the parents' lead to ensure consistency for the child. My favorite activities include exploring outdoors, board games, puzzles, reading, and educational games that promote learning. I also have experience with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and crafts. I have taken coursework in early child development to further enhance my skills and knowledge.
