About Lia

With over 15 years of experience working with children, I have done it all from potty training to remote learning during the pandemic and everything in between! I began caring for children at the age of 12, as a mother's helper for a neighbor with a newborn and 3-year-old at the time. This then progressed into babysitting for a few local families throughout high school. When I went to college, I began nannying for a wonderful family 5 days a week with a 1 and 4-year-old, who I am still very close with. I handled everything from meals and homework to play dates and bath time. I now have a full time job and am looking to work with a family evenings during the work week. My schedule becomes extremely flexible in the winter as I am only in office 3 days a week for a 4 day work week. I would love the opportunity to work with a great local family and help ease the workload of parenting. They say it takes a village and I'm happy to be apart of yours!
