About Lexi

Childhood development is my driving passion! I'm currently perusing a M. A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with the intent of specializing in child/adolescent care. Nobody celebrates the small victories like kids do! Whether it be making a new friend, winning a game of UNO, or trying a new food, each victory is worth celebrating. I'm looking for communicative parents/guardians! I believe childcare should be extremely personalized to the child. Being on the same page about routines, household rules, and expectations will help me ensure your child's comfort with myself as a new caregiver. Like many teenagers, I started babysitting in high school for gas money! For several years, I taught springboard diving lessons to beginners of all ages. Most recently, I worked as a Psychiatric Care Technician at a pediatric hospital. This gave me experience in caring for children with a unique set of challenges. These kids were deeply inspiring and ultimately put me on my career path.
