Hi there! I'm Lexie, and I'm so excited to work with your family! I recently moved here to pursue my doctorate in occupational therapy at NOVA. I have a bachelor's in psychology and have worked with children for years-as a babysitter, preschool teacher, substitute teacher, and eventually assistant director at a Montessori school. I love the Montessori approach for how it fosters independence, curiosity, and hands-on learning. What I enjoy most is seeing children's "aha" moments when they discover something new. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where kids can explore, learn, and grow with confidence. A little about me-I love staying active, whether it's working out, hiking (a love from my Kentucky roots!), or traveling. I'm also an avid reader and passionate about helping others, which is why I'm pursuing occupational therapy. I look forward to getting to know you and your family!

Did not inform me that she could not babysit for me until the night before, after I had reached out to her through phone and email. Said her phone wasnt working. She could've emailed me or contacted me beforehand through this app to let me know. Super frustrating and inconvenient
