To Whom It May Concern, My name is Michelle, and I am writing to highly recommend Lesly L., who cared for my daughter from the time she was one year old until she turned three. Lesly came to us through a family friend, and from the very beginning, her warmth, responsibility, and genuine love for children were clear. We started her at $22 an hour, and as we saw her skill and dedication, we increased her rate to $30. Lesly provided a nurturing environment that made a huge difference during those early years. Her responsibilities included not only the basics of childcare but also thoughtful and creative activities that encouraged our daughter’s growth and development. I work part-time from home, so I was always around if needed, but Lesly’s confidence and ability to handle things independently were incredibly reassuring. Some of her key duties included: - Washing bottles, sippy cups, and my daughter’s dishes - Managing my daughter’s laundry, including weekly bed sheet changes - Tidying and organizing the play area and bedroom - Preparing nutritious meals and snacks tailored to a toddler’s needs - Organizing playdates and planning engaging activities, from park outings to arts and crafts - Running errands, including grocery shopping and ensuring we were always stocked with essentials like diapers and snacks - Assisting with nap routines and maintaining a consistent daily schedule Lesly’s creativity truly shined through in the activities she planned. Whether it was a day at the park, an indoor “painting party,” or storytime with hand puppets, she always had something special prepared. My daughter absolutely adored her and looked forward to the days spent with Lesly, who made even the simplest activities feel magical. Lesly was excellent at keeping us updated with daily notes on our daughter’s activities, routines, and any new milestones. Her communication was always proactive and clear, giving us full confidence that our daughter was in great hands. The only minor challenge was with transportation, as Lesly relied on public transit, which occasionally caused delays. However, she was very communicative about any timing issues, and it was never a significant inconvenience. Lesly stopped working with us when my daughter turned three and began preschool, but she remains a cherished friend to our family. I highly recommend her to any family in search of a dedicated, loving, and highly capable caregiver.
