Since September of 2023, I have worked as a special education para-educator in a MSD class in an elementary school. I work with children with Down Syndrome, Autism, ADHD, and other physical and cognitive disabilities. It is the most rewarding work I have ever done. Before this job, I was my parents' caregiver and helped them with medication/bathing and dressing, etc.. While I am not looking to work with adults or seniors, if the right position came up, I would consider it.
