Hello! I am currently looking for a family or families who need help 2 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursdays before 5 p.m. Experience: I have served as a teacher, mentor, tutor, babysitter, and nanny. I have 14 years of experience as a nanny, from newborn to 13 years old, and from 1 child to 4 children. I taught preschool, middle school, and high school. I currently teach yoga and meditation to adults, families, and children of all ages. I have directed many children's programs and family programs through meditation centers, yoga centers, and community centers. I work closely with parents and children to develop trusting relationships based on good communication, care, kindness, and joy. I currently teach part-time at the nature school I cofounded in 2019 which serves 3-year-olds through 14-year-olds. Certifications: Infant, Child, and Adult CPR/AED and First Aid; R-CYT Kids Yoga Teacher, TN State Naturalist and Outdoor Educator

Leslie is a rare human being who really sees the inherent beauty of each child and connects with them on a deep and heartfelt level. We have two boys (now 6 and 10) and they have spent time with Leslie as their sitter and also in group programs she sometimes offers. As a family, we're low key, no TV, semi-vegetarian, attachment/mindful parenting-minded, and we wanted someone who could help cultivate in our children not just a positive understanding of themselves (both mind and body), but a deeper connection to the planet and a respect and compassion for everyone on it. In Leslie we found someone whose values aligned with ours perfectly and we were incredibly blessed to have had her in our lives. She is kind, deeply empathetic, responsible, overwhelmingly trustworthy, and able to be playful or serious, lead or follow when the situation requires it. Our children are the better for having been in her care.
