Hello! After caring for my parents full-time for two years, I have happily entered into a career in caregiving. My experience, approximately 2. 5 years, includes caring for someone with esophageal cancer (Dad), which involved specialized cooking and feeding tube maintenance, as well as being a companion for someone with dementia (Mom). I have experience with transfers, bathroom assistance, bathing, and dressing. I can also help you with light housekeeping, cooking, companionship, walking, reading, and keeping physically active. I'm a volunteer for Carle Hospice, so I have recently completed a background check and Alzheimer's training. I'm also certified through the American Caregivers Association.
