About Lesley

I cared for my own mother, full-time, moving in with her, from 1998 until her death in 2009, at 90 years old. We dealt with breathing machines, feeding tubes, colostomy bags, special diets and Dementia during this time. This I believe qualifies me for elder care of another patient. I miss her dearly as she was my best friend. My grandmother had many of the same problems, I cared for her as well when in my twenties, until her death at age 90, as well as my mother-in-law with in-home care for a Cancer patient. I seem to relate well to elderly persons, relatives or not and would enjoy caring for another. My husband was struck down with Multiple Sclerosis about 15 years ago, and has been ill and unable to work. I need to return to work to supplement our ever increasing medical costs.
