About Madison

Hello! I am a certified teacher in search of opportunities to tutor elementary/middle school in math, science, and english, or high school science and algebra I. My certified teaching endorsements include 6-12 biology, 6-12 chemistry, and 6-12 Earth science. I have paid elementary, middle school and college-level one-on-one tutoring experience and traditional classroom experience in science and biology classrooms from 7th grade through 12th grade. Most recently, I have been an 8th grade science teacher. My teaching philosophy revolves around the idea of the growth mindset. I believe that every student can grow through hard work and with the help of a great teacher. In addition to bringing this attitude along with me to every tutoring session, I will always uphold my positive and patient disposition. In addition to helping with school work, I love to help students get organized!
