About Lennox

I started a job this summer working as a caregiver but I would prefer to do more private individual clients compared to working for a larger company. I am a communication disorders major with the plan to go to grad school for speech language pathology. I am passionate about everyone's ability to be able to speak and communicate. I want to work with older individuals specifically those who have had a stroke or those who have Parkinson's disease or dementia. My motivation for working with older individuals is because my grandpa had Parkinson's and I saw how hard it was for him when he struggled to communicate and I want to be able to help others who have difficulty speaking due to Parkinson's disease. My grandmother had dementia and it always inspired me how the staff at her assisted living place were so good with listening to her and I want to be able to help families who have grandparents with these difficulties.
