About Lena

I am a new mother as well as bonus mother to a 7-year-old with many years of paid and unpaid childcare experience! I am comfortable with newborns to teens, and comfortable with pets of all kinds. My employment background is Tech, but I find fulfillment in working with children and would love to find a family to assist long-term that would allow me to also care for my little one. I know that is a big ask, but I have plenty of love and attention to share! I have volunteered with the Derby Public Library in the past assisting with literacy programs and the summer reading program, the Derby Recreation Commission assisting with swim lessons, and the Kansas Humane Society as a foster parent. I am also fluent in Spanish and would welcome the opportunity to make use of the language more consistently. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
