I started pet sitting when I was 16, at first unpaid with one of my close friends family cats. She is a 2-year-old black cat and every few days a week I would come over and feed her and play with her, and I loved her so much. Eventually my friends parents were unable to afford taking care of the cat, and so they entrusted her with me since I took care of her practically as a second parent. I then started doing paid pet sitter work with people throughout my neighborhood and my friends with their animals, and I truly love what I do. I care for pets deeply and I love to connect with them and become a safe space for them.
