About Lena

Hi, I'm Helena! I'm 32 with over 15 years of childcare experience. I've had the pleasure of working with a variety of families in different roles, from part-time sitter to full-time nanny to household assistant, and I've cared for children ranging from 3 months to 17-years-old, often watching multiple at once. I love engaging kids with interactive games and creative activities, and I always adapt my approach to suit each child's age and individual needs. I've led treasure hunts, hosted dance parties, survived water balloon wars, conducted countless science experiments, and dressed up as Elsa for Frozen-obsessed toddlers more times than I'd like to admit. I've also learned a few valuable lessons - like never let a 4-year-old play with your curly hair unless you're ready to lose a good chunk of it! I have a car and experience transporting kids - most recently doing so in Australia, where I had the added challenge of dodging kangaroos while driving on the opposite side of the road!
