About Lela

I am seeking opportunities to babysit, tutor, and entertain kiddos during this upcoming spring and summer. I am a current fourth year medical student at UMass Chan Medical School completing my clinical training . Prior to medical school, I spent three years as a 7th grade math teacher. I have extensive teaching and tutoring experience ranging from grades 3-12 in subjects including neuroscience, math, english, chemistry, and Chinese. Before teaching, I studied neuroscience at Amherst College where I also pursued internships in public health and research-related fields. I competed in cross-country and track and field and continue to enjoy an active lifestyle. I am an organized, patient, and confident childcare provider and am willing to help out where it is needed.
