My father had blood cancer and I cared for him through his last two years including bathing, administrating medications, wound care, cooked, cleaned, laundry, and pet care. At the same time, I also did the same for my mother who had a lung condition, including grocery shopping, medication administration, bathing, cleaning, cooking shopping and went to all of her doctor's appointments and also stayed in the hospital for both of them. After going through this with my parents, I feel I have found what I want to do in life. I have full respect for the elderly and enjoy chatting with them about their life history. Since my parents passed away, I have been doing healthcare for 9yrs. I have been fingerprinted and have had a background check. I live in Spanish Lakes Fairways, in Ft. Pierce. I have a current CPR and background check. Have all Covid shots.

Leisa was a caregiver for my dad (84) for nearly two years. My dad had a chronic illness that left him wheelchair-bound and with some memory issues. Leisa is very patient and kind. She allowed my mom to run errands and occasionally take day trips while staying with my dad. Leisa assisted with occupational and cognitive exercises, transfers, and medication administration. She was always willing to help my mom with household chores as well. Over time, Leisa became a family friend.
