About Leila

I'm a scuba instructor with a flexible schedule and a love for animals. I go at your dog's pace; when they want to run, we run! And when they want to sniff, we stop. I help reinforce the skills your dog has already learned to help them thrive at home and outside. I'll probably teach them some new ones! Every walk with me is a training walk balanced with fun and relaxation, so your dog feels accomplished. I have experience with dogs, cats, horses, sheep, pigs, goats, snakes and birds, caring for my own and others'. Happy to walk, feed, water, groom and administer medications to your furry friends. Safety is paramount: your dog will always be on leash and the leash is always in my hand. I give my full attention to the dog and will keep you updated on any health or behavioral issues I spot. I have received formal training in animal care and behavior and have completed the San Diego Humane Society 'Fear Free' program, which is all about positive reinforcement.
