About Leilani

My name is Leilani, eldest daughter and deeply creative at heart. I have been working at Headstart which is a government funded preschool that services underprivileged and at risk children on the community for 3 years now and absolutely love it. Facilitating in caring for and watching our children go is so fulfilling and is my life's work. I believe that the approach to children should be forming a relationship with them, respecting them as individuals and overall knowing that we are here to help them learn and keep them safe. I am a very big advocate for learning rather then just forced compliance. I am going to be completely transparent, I love mystudents and my students love me but unfortunately as I am returning to college to get my teaching license, it is t cheap so I am looking to make some extra money by doing what I love which is taking care of some really amazing kids! They are your world and I understand that so let's make sure the next generation is cared for!
