Leigh is the first caregiver, except for family, who has stayed with my husband while I was out of town - and I can't sing her praises enough! He has a series of issues that include acute pain from compression fractures along with dementia and hearing loss which limit his activities/interests. He has been adamant about not needing a "stranger" to assist him in my absence - and has been opposed to having anyone sit with him or have ongoing interaction. All that changed with Leigh! Not only was she an extremely competent caregiver- taking care of meds, meals, and assisting with needs and requests - but she changed his outlook on having a caregiver (in Leigh's case, he refers to her as his new, intelligent "friend") to enjoy conversations and interactions with in my absence. Leigh is extremely competent in her role as caregiver she also has vast personal past educational & work experience. She is punctual, attentive, stimulating and informative and was a perfect match for both of us.
