About Leigh

I'd describe my personality as kind, creative, results oriented I like tutoring because I believe every child has the potential to achieve great things. In tutoring I work with the child's individual learning style and provide specific remedies for their progress. It is rewarding to see children discover confidence in their mind and abilities. I'm looking for a job that gives me the opportunity to build confidence and joy in learning. I started tutoring when my own children needed help. I developed a number of multi-curricular adaptations to help them succeed. In my spare time, I like to read, do Sudoku and play my cello. I also love Pilates and Tai Chi. One thing you should know about me is that I am dedicated to their child's success. My skills include Editing, coaching, analysis and observation. I have training in child development and have been licensed in K-6, middle grades general education and 6-12 social sciences. I have worked as an economist, teacher and financial advisor.
