About Leidy

During the past 17 years I have had the opportunity to work with children, including babysitting and pediatric care. My passion for interacting with children is evident in my dedication to helping them learn and grow. Over the years, I have taught many children their ABCs, colors, and numbers, etc. through engaging didactic and motricity games. I believe every child has unique skills and talents, and I strive to identify and nurture these gifts. As a former nurse and current occupational therapist working towards board certification, I bring a wealth of knowledge to child care. I am certified in CPR and first aid and hold a degree in Psychology from Colombia. I am also fluent in Spanish. As a babysitter, my duties include feeding, developing schedules, playing, singing, taking walks, helping with homework, cooking light meals, reading, and providing general educational experiences.
