About Leiah

Hi there! My name is Leiah and I have been working in childcare for the past 12 years. I currently work as a bilingual pediatric medical Speech-Language Pathologist at a children's hospital in San Diego. My current specialty areas are early childhood education, autism, and infant feeding & swallowing. I received my Master's Degree from the University of Connecticut, where I completed a medical rotation at Connecticut Children's Hospital. I have experience caring for ages ranging from NICU infants to adults with special needs. I am also an aunt to three wonderful nieces nephews, ages 7, 3, and 2 months! I love to spend time outside, take kids to fun day activities, do arts and crafts, read, and go swimming! Comfortable driving kids with/without car seats, CPR certified, & Spanish speaking.
