I recently assisted: A Hospice patient living in an assisted care residence in Savannah. I took her daily to walking trails at a Park, Aquatic Center to swim, out for lunch, assisted with shopping, walker excursions, wheelchair excursions (to enjoy conversation and fresh air), and reading to her. I also assisted a Grandmother with dementia. I saw to it she took her Medications, I helped her keep her house organized and picked up, washed and dried her bedding, encouraged her to drink water and eat meals. Walked and sat with her outdoors. And I took her to Doctor's appointments. I also fed a 93-year-old in a nursing home every day at noon for over a year. Transported her back to her room and washed her face and hands and her teeth. Made sure she drank water. Tried to possession her comfortably in bed when she was unable to eat in the dining room.
